Can all marine spare parts use one HS code?
The short answer
“For use on a vessel” is not enough to assign one code to every item. Review each item’s actual characteristics against the applicable tariff and notes. Vessel names and supplier part numbers support traceability but do not replace technical descriptions.

- Retain original line numbers, quantities and units, including genuine repeated lines.
- Build a material, function, equipment, specification and evidence checklist.
